Justice League: 10 Must-See New Details About The Film Revealed During Justice Con
6. The Title Hasn't Been Decided On Yet
Despite initially being announced as "Zack Snyder's Justice League," the filmmaker has now confirmed that it's not the final title for the movie. It's certainly one that makes sense when you stop and think about it, but Snyder pointed to there being some complications with making that a reality.
"You know it's really...the name of the movie as 'Zack Snyder's Justice League' is the name that we all want," he explained. "It's the name we are working on. It's legal reasons that restrict it, but we're trying to work that out. I suppose that's the cool name for it."
Snyder didn't clarify what those issues might be, but it's likely related to trademark or copyright issues. After all, the heroes aren't "Zack Snyder's Justice League," and Warner Bros. only recently managed to get through a difficult legal battle with the grandchildren of Superman's creators which means they now have to be credited (and rightly so).
If not "Zack Snyder's Justice League," it's hard to say what this new cut of the film could be called, but HBO Max will want to do something to distinguish it from the disastrous theatrical version.
