4. What Is Lois Lane's Role In The Film?
Every Justice League trailer so far has shown only glimpses of Lois Lane and has given little away about the specifics or the extent of her role in the film, beyond the fact it includes pining for dead Superman.
None of the footage reveals how she will be involved with the Justice League itself, whether she will be a useful ally, somebody they must protect or nothing besides motivation for the Man of Steel when he rises from the grave.
Prior events suggest her role is pivotal, with The Flash dubbing her "the key" during Batman's 'Knightmares', but nothing in the trailers hints at what she might unlock.
Educated guesswork suggests the Dark Knight allowing Lois to die is what triggers Superman's shift over to the dark side and condemns Earth to an apocalyptic future, though whether this means Steppenwolf specifically targets Lois remains to be seen.
The mysteries surrounding Batman v Superman's most confusing sequences remain very much intact going into Justice League.
