3. Is Steppenwolf The Only Villain?
Steppenwolf and his army of Parademons are sure to be a handful for Batman and co, but will the Apokoliptian be the only villain the Justice League faces in the movie?
Fans were expecting Lex Luthor to serve as a bonus antagonist, possibly with Joe Manganiello's Deathstroke in tow, but those reports which spun out of the test screenings puts their involvement in doubt.
Whether the potential evil Superman counts as a villain is up for debate, but it would be surprising if Darkseid wasn't given at least a post-credits appearance.
Batman's 'Knightmare' sequences teased that he's the one who's really behind the invasion of Earth, which makes him the DC equivalent of Marvel's Thanos on screen, an evil presence pulling strings behind the scenes, waiting for the right sequel in which to make his full debut.
None of the Justice League trailers offer an Darkseid teasers, but he's at least as likely to be handed a secret cameo as Green Lantern.
