4. A Novel Approach

If there's any piece of alternate art that could serve as an appropriate substitute to the final product, I would have to say it's this one. While it doesn't have the cool "Wintery/Christmas" sort of color palette primarily dealing in Blue, Red And White; this cover looks like one in the style of the era this story is emulating/adapting. The hand drawn look really sells the artistic quality, as well as Ms. Monaghan draped over a .45. This is the stuff detective fiction thrives on, and it pays off in creative dividends. (Kinda makes you wish it were a book series, doesn't it?)
