Make Them An Offer They Can't Refuse - THE GODFATHER Mansion For Sale At $2.9 Million

It is the interior responsible for some of the finest cinematic moments ever crafted. Don Vito Corleone slapping Johnny Fontane around the face and ordering him to "be a man", Michael Corleone closing the door (and metaphorically his life) on his wife Kay in the dramatic final shot of the first film and my favourite scene from the entire franchise - the flashback from The Godfather Part II where Michael tells his enraged family members that he has enlisted in the marines and we come to understand the guilty conscience that led to him becoming a vital part of the family business. Movie Videos & Movie Scenes at MOVIECLIPS.com Now KTSM.com report that the famous Staten Island Mansion where The Godfather filmed for eighteen months has been put up for sale for the sum of $2.9 million dollars. A hefty price for most, mere pocket money for a Godfather obsessed film star who has always wanted to tread over the same iconic footsteps as the movie's major characters. The eight bedroomed house has been put on the marketplace by Jim Norton who was an awe inspired eighteen year old when Marlon Brando and co moved in to film on his father's property. This must have been a fascinating experience not least for the fact that The Godfather was a chaotic, near catastrophic film environment for a picture that nearly everyone involved expected to flop. Following his father's recent death Jim has decided to sell the house that has been in the Norton family for over fifty years. To be honest I would not be surprised to see someone in the industry try and get their hands on this property as besides from being a beautiful piece of land the house is also apparently full of mementos from the picture including Marlon Brando's cue cards as well as pictures and autographs from the cast and crew. Besides think of all the fun that could be had in that environment from holding a wedding in the famous garden to recreating scenes within the rooms. If I had three million dollars spare my immediate action would be to invest in some cotton wool, spread it on either cheek, dye my hair gray, put on a black suit, head straight to Don Vito's room, make an extravagant gesture with my hands and passionately reel off the phrase "You talk about vengeance. Is vengance going to bring your son back to you or my boy to me?" But that's just me....

"Growing up, Laurent was such an ardent fan of wrestling superstar Stone Cold Steve Austin that he actually attempted to send the Texas Rattlesnake a letter demanding that he defeat arch-nemesis The Rock at Wrestlemania 15. Oh hell yeah, it was all still very real to him back then dammit. As an aspiring writer of multiple genres and platforms, he has also recently co-authored a non-fiction movie e-book entitled 'Egos, Cliches, Flops and Lost Films: Examining the powerful madness of the movies' which is written in a similarly light hearted and informative style to his wrestling articles and which can be browsed and purchased by following the link below - http://www.amazon.com/Egos-Cliches-Flops-Films-ebook/dp/B0088YNTBC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1339093928&sr=8-1"
