7. Kingpin Won't Appear In Spider-Man Movies
He might be arguably the best villain in all of Marvel's screen work since the start of Phase 1, but Vincent D'Onofrio has affirmed that Kingpin isn't going to appear in future Spider-Man movies. He confirmed on Twitter that he doesn't think that there is enough room in the MCU to fit him in, when he was asked about making the jump:
"That I doubt. Seems to be so many characters in the film uni to service. The films are already jam packed."
Having previously flirted with the idea, perhaps we should take this new more assured answer as indication it really isn't happening.

Unfortunately, no matter how good Vincent D'Onofrio is as the iconic villain, Marvel aren't likely to break their clause of not working with Netflix for the big screen in the near future. It's a shame - especially given that it means we won't get a Punisher appearance anywhere in a movie - but the two worlds are just too dissimilar (not least for that R-Rating).
Let's all still hold onto the faint flicker of hope though, shall we - just for the sake of keeping the dream alive.
