We first heard about the Loki TV show in late 2018, but it wasn't until this February when we finally learned who the showrunner would be.

As per THR, Rick and Morty writer Michael Waldron has been hired as the point man on this new series. The outlet confirmed that Waldron will write the pilot, executive produce the series, and act as the "show creator".

Waldron's Rick and Morty episodes haven't actually aired yet since he's only worked on the upcoming fourth season, so fans will have to wait and see how good he is at stepping in to a well-established universe and giving it his own spin.

Danny has been with WhatCulture for almost nine years, and is currently Doctor Who Editor and WhoCulture Channel Manager, overseeing all of WhatCulture's Whoniverse coverage. He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
