While a lot of what Kevin Feige introduced the world to in Hall H had already been announced previously, there were some new projects confirmed. Of course the two new Avengers movies, Sam Wilson’s Captain America: New World Order, and Thunderbolts.

The latter is sure to be an interesting entity, as it will be closing out Phase Five before Fantastic Four opens Phase Six four months later. Marvel’s version of the Suicide Squad is seemingly a big deal then, right now made even bigger by the fact that there have been no announcements of who will actually make up the team.

Fans of course have their theories, and it’s easy to assume that this is what Val has been building to, starting with The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Black Widow. However, John Walker and Yelena Belova aside, there are no guarantees.

On stage Kevin Feige even referenced that he wouldn’t be talking about the Thunderbolts roster, saying that there would be plenty of time for more surprises. Could it be then that joining a handful of currently established MCU characters on the team will be some names that haven’t even appeared on screen yet?
