11. Killian Breathing Fire - Iron Man 3
Killian is one of the most underrated villains in the MCU; sure, he’s not that threatening but Guy Pearce is a lot of fun in the role. He plays the smarmy Killian to perfection and having seen him as a weedy scientist who Tony casually humiliated years before helps humanise him somewhat.
Iron Man 3 isn’t above-making fun of itself - see entry fifteen - but for many the moment where Killian literally breathes fire is downright parody. Sure it might steal a couple of chuckles, but it’s way too goofy for its own good, and since this ability is never used or brought up again, it feels like a dumb gag that was best left on the cutting room floor.
