6. Black Panther Has A Flash-Back Sequence
The Rumour
The leak suggests that Malachi Kirby is credited as "Young T'Chakka", suggesting that we're going to see a flashback sequence to the earlier day of his rule. Obviously, we'll forgive the spelling mistake of T'Chaka.
Response
As Erik Killmonger is the supposed chief villain of the piece, it makes sense that we'll see some of his backstory - and most specifically why his family was exiled from Wakanda. That would involve going back to tell the story of Killmonger's father, who was press-ganged into helping Ulysses Klaue to attack T'Chaka. They were defeated, the father was killed and the family was exiled, with Erik (who was born N'Jadaka) moving to New York to lick his wounds.
That's the perfect way to set up why he is embittered against T'Challa and his family, and why he wants to take the throne of Wakanda away in vengeance.
Presumably, the flash-back would also require Killmonger's father to be cast too, and a change to the specifics of the backstory, since Klaue's age doesn't match up. But it certainly seems plausible.
