4. Thanos Will Appear In Thor: Ragnarok

Before returning in Infinity War, Josh Brolin will appearing as Thanos in Thor: Ragnarok.

Given that the final Infinity Stone is set to appear in Ragnarok (the Soul Stone), this is pretty predictable. And that's without the fact that the Tesseract is still on Asgard, and thus needs to be retrieved by Thanos before he can unify all of the Stones on his Gauntlet.
None of that spells positive news for Asgard or its inhabitants. Could Thanos take advantage of the raging war of Ragnarok to sneak in and take both of the Infinity Stones there? Or will he pour salt into the wounds left after Hela is defeated by turning up for a final act escalation that sees even more devastation? That would be a particularly difficult thing to accept given the more comic tone director Taika Waititi is supposedly aiming for.
Still, he needs to appear, so it's just a matter of how they pull it off now.
