Song: Liquid Spirit Film: Avengers: Age Of Ultron Award winning jazz artist Gregory Porter almost never made it into music at all after receiving a full-ride athletic scholarship to San Diego State University back in 1989. Unfortunately for the SDSU Aztecs, Porter suffered a bad shoulder injury during his junior year of high school which meant his career in football would never get off the ground. 25 years and three albums later and Porter was picking up the Best Jazz Vocals Grammy for his record Liquid Spirit, an album that masterfully combines elements of Jazz with Gospel and R&B. The single of the same name features in Avengers: Age Of Ultron, playing in the background during the teams premature victory party.
