7. Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2: Stan Lee's Stranded

The Scene

The final post-credits scene heads back to the distant barren planet that Stan Lee was shown on in an earlier sequence in the film talking with The Watchers. Having heard - and seemingly dismissed - his story The Watchers leave him stranded, much to his annoyance, and despite his pleas to be taken with them.

What It Meant

As the entire Internet has suggested for a while, Lee confirming that he is the same character in every cameo and his meeting with The Watchers suggests that he's the MCU's version of Uata, Earth's appointed Watcher.

It's a little problematic that he'd then be stranded, but it's an affectionate retake on the character, and it fits with the almost bumbling image Lee has carved for himself in the MCU.
