MCU Phase 4: Which Characters Will Return After Avengers: Endgame?

8. Bucky

Status: Alive

Having been the first character to be dusted in Infinity War and with his story arc basically wrapped up with his deprogramming in Wakanda, it looked like Bucky might be in peril of retirement. But then it was announced he would be back for a Disney+ show and it was obvious he couldn't be going anywhere.

In the end, he survived the battle, despite his superpower effectively being "has guns" thanks in part to his team-up with Rocket. Which would definitely also make a great show.

Next Up: Winter Soldier And Falcon TV Show

The former Winter Soldier will team up with his fellow Captain America best friend for their own limited-run Disney + TV show, which will presumably focus on Sam's new role as Captain America. Buddy cop-like shows are great and they proved already that they have a lot of chemistry together, so it's an exciting development.

7. Shuri, Okoye, M'Baku, Ramonda

Status: Alive

When Black Panther walked back into Endgame he came with his family and all of the Wakandan people for the big show. None of them were ever going to fall permanently, because we are only just at the very start of their stories and their sequel is coming pretty soon.

Presumably, Lupita Nyong'o's Nakia and Daniel Kaluuya's W'Kabi are both alive too but neither appeared in Endgame of Infinity War. W'Kabi is presumably still locked away and living in fear of his wife, while Nakia will probably be back for Black Panther 2.

Next Up: Black Panther 2

Expect all of the main cast to return, other than Michael B Jordan and Andy Serkis. And let's hope we get to see Shuri in a Panther suit, eh?
