MCU: Predicting Marvel's Next 20 "Completely Different" Movies
14. Thor: Siege
Though Chris Hemsworth's contract is up with Avengers 4, there was some talk before Ragnarok came out of the threequel kicking off a new chapter of Thor stories, and that would be a very good thing.
With the ending of Ragnarok, the Asgardians are a nomadic race, looking for a new place to establish their home. It's unlikely that that is going to happen in Infinity War or Avengers 4 in any sort of meaningful way, but it's the kind of story thread that cannot simply be left unexplored further. And the best way to do that is to adapt a version of Siege, in which the Asgard on Earth is attacked by an alliance of villains (under Norman Osborn), under the Dark Avengers banner.
It wouldn't work as a pure adaptation, but having a villain infiltrate the government and lead a campaign against the so-called "Asgardian invaders" would definitely fit (particularly if that person could be Loki in disguise). And crucially, it would also fit lots of ideas already explored in the MCU.
