MCU X-Men: 10 Comic Book Storylines Marvel Must Adapt

6. Ultimate Wolverine Vs Hulk

Wolverine vs Hulk. Whether a casual fan or a die hard comic book reader, everyone recognises the immense potential of these two characters to do damage to one another that the title alone would be enough marketing.

Nick Fury gives Wolverine the task of assassinating the Hulk, who they claim to be the source of many incidents of mass destruction. The catch comes in the second issue, where Fury's information starts to become questionable as we see Banner's side of the story, desperately trying to control his anger.

When Wolverine finds Hulk, Hulk claims he is cured of his anger, but before long the two are fighting and Wolverine is separated from his legs.

While this storyline involves Betty Ross turning in to the red skinned Ultimate She-Hulk to battle Banner, an adaptation from Marvel Studios could easily have this be the introduction of She-Hulk, and could create some astounding set pieces between her and the film's leads.

The story can of course go anywhere that suits the two characters as the MCU sees them, but the shadiness of Nick Fury and the striking imagery used throughout the series would make this the perfect jumping off point to bring these two titans in to each other's crosshairs.
