15. Borderline
It's totally baffling that a new horror film starring Samara Weaving of all people went this unnoticed when it released last year, but Borderline is an absolute blast.
Weaving plays a pop star, Sofia Minor, who finds herself targeted by an obsessive fan, Paul (Ray Nicholson), who believes they're meant to get married and breaks into her home.
Now in fairness, Weaving plays the supporting part here, as the real star of the show is Nicholson - yes, son of Jack - who turns in a phenomenally unhinged performance as basically every celebrity's worst nightmare.
But this is so much weirder than its basic-ish setup might suggest, filmmaker Jimmy Warden injecting oodles of blacker-than-black comedy into the mix, resulting in a film that'll often leaving you laughing uncomfortably at the grim absurdity of it all.
Yet sadly Borderline grossed less than $300,000 on its theatrical release and swiftly vanished onto streaming platforms where it seems to have already been forgotten.
