Pixar Goes Gaellic: BRAVE Teaser Trailer

Since I've pretty much gone mental with Pixar trailers recently, it's appropriate that the studio have now released a teaser trailer for their upcoming project Brave, which will see a release next summer. This is of course the first original, non-sequel Pixar flick since Up two years ago and is sandwiched in between this year's Cars 2 and 2013's release of the Monster's Inc prequel Monster's University and perhaps because we know so little about it the film has more of a curiosity for us. Accompanied by the dulcet Gaellic tones of Kevin McKidd, the teaser seems to hint at a clan-like lore that seems to fit with Disney's move back towards Fairy Tale territory - but in truth, there's not much here, other than a nice tease of what looks to be an extremely impressive, grand aesthetic. Anyway, have a look, and let us know what you think... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tYg0VgPy6Uk The official synopsis of the film reads a little something like this:
Since ancient times, stories of epic battles and mystical legends have been passed through the generations across the rugged and mysterious Highlands of Scotland. In €œBrave,€ a new tale joins the lore when the courageous Merida (voice of Kelly Macdonald) confronts tradition, destiny and the fiercest of beasts. Merida is a skilled archer and impetuous daughter of King Fergus (voice of Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (voice of Emma Thompson). Determined to carve her own path in life, Merida defies an age-old custom sacred to the uproarious lords of the land: massive Lord MacGuffin (voice of Kevin McKidd), surly Lord Macintosh (voice of Craig Ferguson) and cantankerous Lord Dingwall (voice of Robbie Coltrane). Merida€™s actions inadvertently unleash chaos and fury in the kingdom, and when she turns to an eccentric old Wise Woman (voice of Julie Walters) for help, she is granted an ill-fated wish. The ensuing peril forces Merida to discover the meaning of true bravery in order to undo a beastly curse before it€™s too late.
