With an impressive opening weekend of $181.2 million, Steven Spielberg's latest visually stunning adventure pic is already the 10th highest-grossing film of 2018, and though it'll definitely slip from that slot, it'll still stay strong in the top 20 when it's all said and done.

The film reportedly needs to make around $500 million to break even due to its high $170 million budget and costly marketing campaign, and it will at least come within spitting distance, especially with its impressive success in China (where its $61.7 million opening weekend was Warner Bros.' highest ever in the region).

It won't be a commercial high-point for the legendary filmmaker's career, but a solid showing all the same.
