25. Captain America 3 (2016)

Having been set up by the end of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, it looks certain that the third Captain America movie will explore Bucky's history: we already know that Cap and Falcon are on his tail, and he has already picked up a big hint himself of who he once was. Presumably, Bucky's quest will lead each of the sometime-Avengers to another secret HYDRA hide-out, and more sinister experiments, possibly still lead by Baron Von Strucker. What price on Bucky discovering that the HYDRA sanctioned experiments to regenerate him involve an Infinity Gem other than Loki's sceptre (which has just come into their possession after all)? The Time Gem would fit the bill, and would bring another piece to the Infinity Gems puzzle to the forefront. And it would also give the property a second chance to bring back Red Skull, who was underused in the original, and has major potential. And rather than Rogers being killed at the end, as has been suggested, he might well just retire, which would fit with the pertinent suggestions of his PTSD and his disillusionment with the SHIELD situation. But can we accept Bucky as a main character? The Cameo: Red Skull, revealed to have been brought back using the Time Gem.
