5. Lando: A Star Wars Story

Irrespective of Solo's somewhat disappointing box-office haul, there's no denying the film's original directors - Phil Lord and Christopher Miller - got the casting bang on. Alden Ehrenreich was a pleasant surprise as Han Solo, but matching him beat for beat was Donald Glover's Lando Calrissian.

Glover's rendition of everyone's favourite Sabacc player received glowing praise upon the film's premier, and talk of a spin-off being in the works shortly followed. Though Lucasfilm stopped short of officially announcing the project, Glover did sound enthusiastic about a potential Lando film, referring to it as "Frasier in space". (Where is this film?!)

Somehow, inexplicably, Lucasfilm didn't rush to announce the commencement of a Lando project, but it must be something they're thinking about. Glover is clearly excited about Star Wars, and with further Star Wars 'Stories' already a given, having just one of them revolve around Lando would be wonderful, especially if it detailed his rise to power as Baron Administrator in Cloud City.
