Predicting The Rotten Tomatoes Scores For 2016's Biggest Remaining Movies
10. Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children (73%)
Critical Consensus: "Another visually lavish, well-cast effort from Tim Burton, Miss Peregrine is a worthy adaptation of the beloved children's book."
Tim Burton can be pretty hit-and-miss with critics, but when he's working from solid material, he's generally OK. What better than a children's book that spent 70 weeks on The New York Times Best Sellers list, then?
The trailer teases a visually impressive, delightfully weird effort that's bolstered by a terrifically diverse cast, including Eva Green, Samuel L. Jackson and Judi Dench. If this one's a bust, it would be a huge shock, given that it seems very much within Burton's wheelhouse and is being written by the reliable Jane Goldman (X-Men: First Class, Kingsman).
