Predicting The Rotten Tomatoes Scores For 2016's Biggest Remaining Movies

8. Sully (79%)

Sully Tom Hanks
Warner Bros.

Critical Consensus: "Another winner from Clint Eastwood, Sully overcomes dramatic embellishments to deliver a riveting true-life story, bolstered by yet another mesmerising Tom Hanks performance."

Despite the odd misstep, Clint Eastwood is largely a critical darling, and teaming him with Tom Hanks of all actors is an incredibly enticing prospect to just about anyone.

It seems certain that critics will praise the film's forced landing sequence itself, though the clear sexing-up of the true life story evident from the trailer is sure to drag its score down a little bit.

Still, it'd be a surprise if the film wasn't an Oscar contender, even if it probably ultimately ends up being one of those movies that racks up a string of nominations without actually winning anything.
