Predicting The Rotten Tomatoes Scores For 2016's Biggest Remaining Movies

14. The Magnificent Seven (62%)

Critical Consensus: "It may not totally live up to the classic original, but the new Magnificent Seven is nevertheless enlivened by entertaining action sequences and a top-notch cast."

While this new take on an iconic tale likely won't live up to 1960's classic effort (which scored an impressive 93%), leads Denzel Washington and Chris Pratt both have few recent duds on their Tomatometers, and director Antoine Fuqua (Training Day, Olympus Has Fallen) is an inspired choice for material like this.

It's hard to believe that the action and cast chemistry won't push this one over the top, even if it'll probably ultimately end up as a fairly forgettable late-summer blockbuster.
