Ranking Every DC Original Animated Movie Worst To Best

28. Justice League Vs. Teen Titans (2016)

Justice League Vs. Teen Titans
Warner Animation

Damian Wayne's fourth focused effort in the DC Animated movies; here he teams with the newly revamped Teen Titans as they're forced to battle against a brain-washed Justice League.

As the synopsis screams, it's an attempt for the animated films to steer off in a more kid-friendly direction with the youthful Teen Titans facing off against those mean authoritative adults and saving the day.

This approach is unfortunately echoed across all aspects, from the humour to the plot feeling just plain juvenile. Also, the wild card element (Damian Wayne) is painfully grating: he's an undisciplined, wretched presences and his same old character arc is repeated once more. In fact, if there is one benefit from this film, it's that Batman finally kicks the little tyke out of his life and hopefully he will remain the Teen Titans' problem from now on.

With that said, it probably works well enough for its target audience and is slickly made with a lovely anime-influenced style, but for the adults? Don't expect it to meet your expectations.
