9. Head Crushed By Weights (Lewis Romero - Final Destination 3)

There's something delightfully ironic about a character getting brutally killed while working on their physical fitness, as with Lewis' (Texas Battle) fatal weightlifting session.

His time in the gym - and on planet Earth - is cut short when the wires holding up some weights are cut, causing his noggin to be smashed to pulp when the weights come crashing down.

It's extra hilarious considering that Lewis was cavalier enough to call out Death - and he sure as hell answered.

8. Flight 180...Again (Sam Lawton & Molly Harper - Final Destination 5)

The fifth film's big plot twist is that it's a prequel to the original movie, concluding with protagonist Sam and Molly (Emma Bell) boarding the very same doomed Flight 180 from the original movie.

It's a brilliantly executed scene, even seamlessly incorporating footage from the first film, before we witness Molly being sucked out of the plane and sliced in half by the wing, and Sam is helplessly burned to a crisp in his seat.
