Ranking Every Upcoming DCEU Movie By Anticipation
17. Cyborg
Release Date: 2020?
Billed As:
The stand-alone debut of Ray Fisher's Cyborg, who has some work to do to convince anyone that he's worthy of a stand-alone (to the point where this film might well have been cancelled entirely).
Positives?
The biggest positive of Cyborg (other than the diversity it might offer to the DC movie slate), is that it could well be used to set up a Teen Titans live action movie, which would be great. And that would probably be the most intriguing way to use Cyborg going forward too - provided it's more than just a rumour.
Concerns?
The effects work from early Justice League footage didn't look all that great, and there are definitely going to be issues with empathy when you're dealing with a superheroic RoboCop. If that gets ironed out in justice League and The Flash (where he's rumoured to appear), that's great, but for now the jury is still a little out.
