Ranking Every Upcoming Spider-Man Film Spin-Off Worst To Best

1. Silk

Marvel Comics

Out of all the recent Spider-Man characters to have made their into solo comics, Silk is undoubtedly one of the best. The character is yet to attain the status of Miles Morales or Spider-Gwen (both of whom are set to feature in the gorgeous-looking Into the Spider-Verse), but it's only a matter of time until Cindy Moon becomes a household name.

Portrayed by Tiffany Espensen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Silk was created by Dan Slott and Humberto Ramos and possesses all the same powers as Spider-Man, except with the added ability of being able to shoot webs out of her finger-tips. She also boasts one of the coolest-looking costumes in the Marvel Universe, and though production on the film is said to be in its earliest stages, it's not difficult to envision Silk being the face of Sony's Marvel spin-offs in the future.

Perhaps more exciting, however, is whether or not the character will lay the first piece of track and bridge the MCU together with Sony's films. Sony have insisted on their side that their productions exist in the "same reality" as Disney's monolithic franchise, but until anything concrete links them together, it sounds like wishful thinking.

Still, there's every chance Espensen could reprise her role and become a superhero. If not, then Silk still sounds like Sony's most exciting Marvel project - even if it'll be a while before it hits screens.
