Ranking June 2017's Movies From Worst To Best

12. Resident Evil: Vendetta

RottenTomatoes Score: 25% (no average)

Box Office: Budgetary information isn't available, but the movie's limited theatrical release has scored $191,408 to date. These CGI animated films almost always manage to make money off their fanbase on home video, so no worries here.

Verdict: Anyone who's seen any of the prior Resident Evil animated movies knows what they're getting here: extremely goofy, over-the-top action sequences, braindead dialogue and a needlessly convoluted plot you'll start to forget before the film's even over.

Even with those lowered expectations, though, Vendetta feels lazily churned out for a quick buck, with indifferent voice performances, a script that plays as though hastily scribbled down over a weekend, and a general failure to engage with the Resident Evil universe and these characters in a memorable or meaningful way.

Unless you're the most hardcore of fans, there's no need to bother.
