Ranking June 2017's Movies From Worst To Best

11. Hampstead

Hampstead Diane Keaton Brendan Gleeson
Entertainment One

RottenTomatoes Score: 45% (4.8/10)

Box Office: There's no budgetary data available, but this one clearly didn't cost much, though has made only around $600,000 from its UK release so far. It'll probably be fine with the usual sales to Netflix and other platforms factored in.

Verdict: Here's a movie so nice and gentle it just might make you fall asleep. Though Diane Keaton and Brendan Gleeson are an intriguing pair, Hampstead is a quaint rom-com mostly lacking in much narrative momentum, and honestly it's just not that interesting.

The OAP crowd will likely find it charming enough, but it's hard to recommend outside of this demographic because it's so low-effort and low-energy.
