Ranking May 2018's Movies From Worst To Best
14. Entebbe
RottenTomatoes Score: 25% (5.1/10)
Box Office: Budgetary data isn't yet available for the historical crime thriller, but given its mere $8.7 million cume to date, it's clearly not a hit.
Verdict: Despite the committed efforts of Rosamund Pike and Daniel Bruhl, this depiction of the 1976 hijacking of Air France Flight 139 is a thoroughly middle-of-the-road affair.
Neither good nor bad enough to be distinguished from countless post-Argo political thrillers, Entebbe is functionally enjoyable, though forces audiences to suffer through a sluggishly-paced first two acts, before act three winds up just a little too fast for its own good.
Fine, but clearly this had so much more potential.
