4. Ghostface Refers To The Killer Only
Okay so this one is genuinely blink and you’ll miss it, but it’s still true.
During the first Scream we actually catch a brief glimpse of the packaging for the costume the killer wears as Dewey brings it down to the police station and the label inside reads the following title: Father Death. No Ghostface here.
To be honest, Father Death is arguably a MUCH better name for a serial killer and it wasn't chosen by accident. Wes Craven says it was chosen as a red herring to make the audience think of Sidney's father. Clever.
