6. Who Is The Death Dealer?
There are a lot of characters coming to the MCU with Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings that fans of the franchise won't be familiar with. Mainstream audiences will certainly not recognise the majority, if not all of the new characters, while there are some that even fans of the comics will struggle with.
One such character is the Death Dealer, a relatively obscure character even in Shang-Chi's history in the comics. He was part of the hired muscle of Shang-Chi's father, and clashed with the martial arts master before being unceremoniously killed just four issues after his introduction.
His appearance in the MCU may well be very similar, as he is clearly working with Wenwu, and even helped train Shang-Chi when he was a child, and while it may just be a part of his costume and culture, the fact that his face has so far been covered by a mask has fans questioning his true identity.
This may be a case of getting carried away, since Taskmaster's true identity is one of the biggest mysteries heading into Black Widow, but there absolutely could be a surprising face hidden behind the Death Dealer's mask. Stranger things have happened.
