10. The Statue Of Liberty Is Decapitated

Mid-way through the Sharknado, a lightning bolt hits the Statue of Liberty, decapitating "her", and sending the giant rock careening into the streets, where it promptly squashes a guy who was helping Wuhrer, her daughter and Pepa. Somehow, the trio are able to outrun the laughably slow-moving head (which apparently stops moving whenever the camera cuts away) as it boulders down the street, and they manage to escape in a garbage truck with mere seconds to spare. Still, the garbage guy hanging on the back? Not so lucky: Lady Liberty manages to catch up to the back of the truck, and the spiky crown tears him to pieces. Wuhrer then crashes the truck into a telegraph pole, and the Statue's head just about avoids colliding with them. Yeah, this is one of those scenes you just have to go with, or you'll go out of your mind debating the ill logic of it all.
