Shazam!: 7 Reveals From The New Teaser
4. A Finale At The Fair At Christmas
Between the first trailer and this teaser, we can reasonably discern that the third act climax of Shazam! will take place at a Christmas Fair.
This teaser features a handful of looks at the setting and the action. The first comes right around the twenty-second mark, where we see Dr. Sivana using his newfound electric energy powers, trying to hit Shazam. The next shot sees Shazam firing his lightning at Sivana, with their blasts meeting in the middle. In the background of this shot, there's a toppled Ferris wheel, several Christmas trees, and lots of (artificial?) snow on the ground.
The next shot sees Shazam seemingly flying away from the conflict, only for Dr. Sivana's energy blasts to destroy a huge chunk of the fairground behind him, including some incredibly innocent looking stuffed animals that get swallowed up in the fireball. All of these stands also have Christmas lights and decorations on them, which fits with the earliest set photos that surfaced from this film that indicated it would be taking place at Christmas time.
The clearest shot of the actual background itself that we get is the big "shazam!" moment from the first trailer, at the thirty-five-second mark. Here, there is a plethora of Christmas light, trees, and what appears to be an entrance to the fair that says "Happy Holidays". Considering the sheer amount of action present at this location and the fact that it's at night (the go-to time for DCEU finales), bet good money on this being the big third-act climax.
