3. The James Bond Theme
http://youtu.be/Ii1tc493bZM The James Bond theme, which may be best theme ever created for a singular character, was somewhat overplayed in the first first two Bond films, particularly in Dr. No- but it stuck, becoming an enduring trademark of the franchise. The theme was only used during the end credits of Casino Royale however and wasn't used extensively in Quantum of Solace either. For Skyfall, it's time to really let the theme have its day in the sun, particularly in the action sequences. And since Bond has established himself as...well, James Bond, in the previous two films, it's not entirely inappropriate for him to have his own theme. Like the gun barrels, which always include variations on the theme, it gets the audience excited, becoming something special for those who love the franchise.
