The Rumour: Harrison Ford's Han Solo may be dead, but that actually presented Solo with a unique opportunity, to give Ford one final appearance in the role.

There was persistent buzz that the end of the movie could reveal a frame narrative, where the story is being recounted by old Han to old Lando (Billy Dee Williams) in a bar somewhere shortly before the events of The Force Awakens.

Considering that early screening reports spoke of a "jaw-dropping" cameo, many understandably believed it would be a surprise appearance by Ford.

The Truth: Ford isn't in the movie despite the obvious roof-raising potential of his rumoured appearance, and one gets the feeling he's actually pretty relieved about someone else taking up the reins, to be honest.
