The Rumour: Though it's been firmly established that Solo takes place many years before the construction of the Death Star, a mysterious tweet by Ron Howard last summer nevertheless had fans speculating whether the film would feature a sneaky appearance by the iconic space station in its final moments, perhaps by way of a time jump.

The Truth: Mercifully this wasn't the case at all. Given how delineated Han's story is from the usual Empire shenanigans, it would've felt incredibly forced to have the Death Star show up for no sake other than lazy fan service.

Plus, aren't we all fed up of seeing gigantic space stations now, especially with Rogue One saying the seemingly final word on the Death Star's creation? Let's move on.
