Solo: A Star Wars Story - Every Character Ranked Worst To Best

6. Enfys Nest

Enfys Nest could've easily been little more than a cool design. The space pirate is initially a rival to Beckett, and keeps on popping up to get in the way and cause a whole host of problems.

It was largely fine for a secondary villain, but towards the end the movie pulls off a big reveal that makes the character much more important, not just in this movie but in the bigger Original Trilogy picture too.

Enfys removes the helmet to reveal that, actually, it's a young woman under there, and one who is actively trying to lead a rebellion against both Crimson Dawn and the Empire. It's a really effective twist and, while it does maybe bring Han a little too close to the Rebel Alliance pre-Star Wars, there's enough of a gap and sense this is just a small beginning to make it work.
