9. The Spectre Ring, Obviously

Some Easter Eggs are easier to spot than others, but they are no less reference worthy. The shot of the ring, which has now appeared twice in trailers, is clearly a reference to the octopus emblazoned jewellery worn by Blofeld in earlier Bond films. It's less gawdy and more practical; perhaps reflecting a more muted approach by the villainous organisation, or just better taste? There's a distinct possibility that the ring isn't even Not Blofeld's (since nobody is allowed to call him Blofeld), given the fact that Bond appears to be inspecting it. Putting the pieces together, Bond attends a funeral in Italy where a Spectre agent appears (presumably checking that the star of the show is actually dead). The pair engage in some sort of chase/fisticuffs shenanigans and just as the agent disappears, he leaves his ring as a memento.
