Despite already being ruined by the trailer, the helicopter sequence above Mexico City that sees Bond fighting Sciarro and almost killing a quite staggering number of people with his impressively blase attitude to human life and helicopters is still very good. It's also a nice call back to The Man With The Golden Gun, which also has a mid-air barrel roll - though then by a car. The callbacks are strong throughout in the set-piece; the Day Of The Dead parade feels a lot like Moonraker's carnival in Rio, it's set in Mexico, and the helicopter is the same model used in the pre-titles sequence of A View To A Kill.
