The mere thought of this rumour is one that certainly gives this writer goosebumps simply because of how game-changing it would be - not-to-mention how logical a theory it is. Yes, according to sources close to WGTC, the-powers-that-be at Marvel Studios hope to use Spider-Man 3 to introduce Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock a.k.a. Daredevil.

Marvel's intensely exhilarating Netflix shows may have made plenty of references to the wider MCU, but they were never officially acknowledged by the big-screen installments - something that understandably irked fans of the steaming service offerings. And that made their abrupt cancellations all the more off-putting because it wasn't like they could just show up in the films, right? Well, that might be about to change if this rumour pans out.

After the jaw-dropping end of Far From Home, New York's friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man is going to need a damn good laywer to represent him, so who better than Hell's Kitchen's finest, Matt Murdock?

Unfortunately, this one has since been all-but-quashed as the more likely option for Peter's representation is rumoured to be Jennifer Walters - a.k.a. She-Hulk.
