Spider-Man: Far From Home - 10 Biggest Questions It Leaves Unanswered
9. Was J. Jonah Jameson Just A One-Off Cameo?
Without question the film's most unexpected and crowd-pleasing moment was the resurgence of J.K. Simmons' J. Jonah Jameson in the mid-credits scene, where The Daily Bugle has been re-imagined as an InfoWars-type far-right conspiracy rag and Jameson as its Alex Jones.
But is this an indication that we'll be seeing Jameson figure heavily in the third MCU Spider-Man movie as a major thorn in Spidey's side, or was it just a cute one-off?
The Likely Answer: It's probably best not to get your hopes up here, honestly. It's certainly likely that Jameson will make another appearance in Spider-Man 3, but it'll probably be in another satirical video segment rather than the character being directly integrated into the plot.
Basically, it's sensible not to expect more than a cameo from Simmons in the future, and if we get anything more, then all the better.
