Spider-Man: Far From Home - Every Character Ranked Worst To Best

4. Mr Harrington

After being a strong supporting presence in the first movie, the worst teacher in the world comes back for a more substantial role in Far From Home. Once more, somehow, he's been entrusted with the care of Peter Parker and his classmates on their confusingly not-at-all-focused school trip on which none of them do even a lick of science and inevitably, it all goes wrong.

Martin Starr is very funny as the self-aware loser and plays him sort of like Gill from The Simpsons. He's a sad sack, but he's committed to the kids' protection and education. It's just that he doesn't really have it within his capabilities to do either of them.

The camera slapstick moment is too much, because he's not Mr Bean, but he's very much one of the most entertaining parts of the film.
