Spider-Man: Far From Home - Every Character Ranked Worst To Best

3. MJ

She was already good on the back of Homecoming, but the deliciously sardonic, darkly comic MJ is once more a stand-out in Far From Home. In all honesty, the gulf between the top three characters here and the rest is so big you could drive an army of drones through it.

Zendaya's MJ is simultaneously cool and awkward - almost the perfect reflection of Holland's Peter Parker - and it's almost a shame she doesn't have the opportunity to play a Spider-Man herself. She's vulnerable and guarded but surprisingly confident at times (which comes mostly from the strength of her will) and her dynamic with Peter is wonderful.

She sells the awkwardness of their blooming relationship, but she's never just relegated to being a wallflower and it's very fitting that she's worked out that Peter is Spider-Man. In a world populated by morons and smart people doing moronic things, she stands apart and she's great.
