Spider-Man: Far From Home - Every Character Ranked Worst To Best

13. Aunt May

Aunt May didn't need to be in this movie, which is about as bad a testament to the part that she does play as is possible. After the revelation that she knows that Peter Parker is Spider-Man, you'd have thought we'd get more of an exploration of their dynamic, but she just sort of accepts it unquestioningly, which is remarkable since he literally JUST died for five years (which she did too, so she should know it's not pleasant).

Anyway, the entirety of her role here is to slightly nag Peter about doing his superhero chores and then to flirt with Happy Hogan but then shatter all of his innocent, naive hopes of romance by saying it's not going anywhere indirectly to him through her nephew. Way to break a guy's heart.

That's not why she's ranked low - she can do what she wants with her romantic intentions - but it's just a shame the plot didn't want to do anything with her. At least the sequel will HAVE to push her front and centre.
