Spider-Man: Far From Home - Every Character Ranked Worst To Best
14. William Ginter Riva
The revelation that Mysterio is not who he seems is quite cleverly played, because it brings back bit-part characters from the background of other movies including William Ginter Riva (played by A Christmas Story's Peter Billingsley who also produces Marvel movies now).
It's good to see him return after he appeared in the first Iron Man (he's the scientist who responds to Obediah's challenge over making the arc reactor with "Well, I'm sorry. I'm not Tony Stark") but he's not really got much substance to him here. He's not a snivelling sidekick or someone obviously warped by greed and power-lust), which his boss is. He's just sort of normal.
Also, his (and Mysterio's entire gang's) motivation for wanting to go after Stark's legacy is a bit.. weak, to be honest and there's little explanation for why they all became cash hungry.
