The Rumour: After meeting one another in Captain America: Civil War, Tony Stark and Peter's Aunt May are now a romantic item by the time Homecoming rolls around.

The Truth: This couldn't be further from what actually happens. Not only is there just the mildest of inferences that Tony still lusts after May, but Tony appears to be back together with Pepper Potts, and later May even makes the distinct remark that Tony's general vibe makes her uneasy.

The shippers' dreams be crushed, this probably isn't going to happen, because why bring Pepper back into the picture only to break her and Tony up again in the near-future? It doesn't make a lot of sense.
