Spider-Man: Homecoming - Every Character Ranked Worst To Best

18. Jackson Brice/Shocker

Logan Marshall Green Spider Man Homecoming
Marvel Studios

After months of speculation relating to who Logan Marshall-Green was playing in Homecoming, he was confirmed finally as Jackson Brice - a cowboy gimmicked bad guy from the comics who was repurposed to take on the Shocker mantle first (as he did in the 2008 animated Spectacular Spider-Man series).

He exists pretty much solely to be a wildcard on Vulture's team, and to be punished to show that he's a zero tolerance leader (and won't stand for dangerous rogues), and for that reason, he's almost provocatively unlikeable. In that respect, it's a successful performance, but it's not really possible to get excited about him.

His death is admittedly hilarious - after initially looking like cold, calculated malice on Vulture's behalf - but he doesn't really deserve to be in the film. All he does is pull focus away from Bokeem Woodbine's alternate Shocker, and that's not god for him in the wrong run.
