Spider-Man: Homecoming Final Trailers Reactions - 7 Ups & 4 Downs

1. Cringe-Worthy Humour

Yes, there are definitely laughs to be had in the trailers, but there are also quite a few wince-inducing gags that just feel a little too forced and embarrassing.

The low-lights include Spidey saving an old woman and being rewarded with a churro, him texting while riding on top of a train, shouting "Hey-ooooooo" when he beats up some Avengers-themed bank robbers, scaring two young girls with his malfunctioning suit, and a bystander shouting "Yeah, Spider-Man!" like Sam Raimi's still in charge.

The trailers make it clear that mileage is probably going to vary somewhat when it comes to the humour, and though Spidey is an inherently goofy character, hopefully these aren't the best jokes the movie has to offer.

These issues considered, though, there's a lot to like from the new trailers...
